The integral human and Christian
formation that the young people receive in all settings – schools (formal,
non-formal, technical-vocational), youth centers, oratories, drop-in centers for
streetchildren, dormitories – grounds the young in values which will guide them
for the rest of their life. Formation to active citizenship is done gradually
through the CLE classes, leadership formation, sharing of experiences. All these
prepare them to take their active place in society as responsible and productive
citizens.
Don Bosco’s motto
“Da mihi animas, caetera tolle” is a conviction which is translated into life by
every Sister, old or young, whether in active apostolate or in other ways of
carrying out the mission. It is with much creativity, daring, zeal for souls and
for their salvation that the apostolate is carried out in various settings in
the Province. Majority of the young Sisters are in schools as teachers of
Christian Living Education and in these past two years, most of them have also
been given charge of being class advisers.
